Role Overview
As our Technical Account & Onboarding Manager, you’ll seamlessly take new clients from “signed contract” through to “fully operational.” You combine the relationship-building skills of an Account Manager with the delivery prowess of a seasoned Project Manager—focusing on automation, integrations and customer delight.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Partnership
- Be the main point of contact for all technical and process questions during onboarding.
- Align on success metrics (uptime SLAs, feature adoption targets, time-to-first-value).
- Workflow Discovery & Automation
- Conduct process mapping workshops to identify manual steps ripe for automation.
- Implement automated workflows (user provisioning, data ingestion, notification routing) using low-code platforms.
- Integration & Custom Projects
- Own integration scoping, vendor selection and technical coordination with engineers.
- Manage deliverables for both “out-of-the-box” connectors and bespoke API developments.
- Project Governance
- Create and maintain a unified project dashboard (scope, timeline, budget, risks).
- Facilitate weekly steering committee calls and produce concise status reports.
- Training & Handoff
- Develop client training sessions, step-by-step guides and knowledge transfer docs.
- Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Success for ongoing support and expansion.
- Continuous Feedback Loop
- Collect user feedback, feature requests and “lessons learned” for the Product team.
- Drive enhancements to our core onboarding toolkit and automation libraries.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years in a combined account management/project management role within SaaS or IT services
- Practical experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate)
- Proven ability to manage technical integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL)
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish
- Comfortable running workshops and presenting to executive-level clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background (CS degree or bootcamp) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Familiarity with telephony APIs (Twilio, Plivo) and voice-AI concepts
- Prior experience in a distributed team across US & LATAM timezones
